Our apartment is in a fabulous location opposite Torrecilla beach and beach front cafés and only a 5 minute stroll to the famous ‘Balcón de Europa’

Nerja is the Costa del Sol's most easterly resort, 50 km from Malaga airport. Once a sleepy fishing village, Nerja has retained its Andalucian character, particularly in the old quarter with its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses.

The tradition is set to remain thanks to enforced restrictions on development of the town.

The heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle

From the “Balcon” you can also see the spectacular Alpujarras mountains

With sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and sandy beaches below, which adorn this beautiful coastline.

There are 7 beaches in Nerja both Torrecilla beach (opposite our apartment) and Burriana beach 30 minutes walk away have been awarded the european blue flag.
